I have to say that the trip kinda exceeded my expectations, and considering it was our first time planning a free and easy trip, it was great!
9 days 8 nights covering 4 cities, Taichung, Jiayi, Kaohsiung and Taipei.
Taiwan has no lack of yummy street food, loads of bubble tea, lots of shopping and well dressed people. We've tried their fried chickens, oyster omeletes, sausages, smelly tofu etc. which were all quite good in general! I liked the fair share of sight seeing and shopping in our trip.
Every night we would go to a night market and walk till our feet hurt and we'd become all penguin-like, and most meals were settled along the streets by indulging in random street food. Thank goodness I have been spared from food poisoning and diarrhoea.
The weather has been good to us too, considering it only rained twice in 9 days.
Sight seeing on Alishan, the port/university at Kaohsiung, and some mountain (I forgot the name) in Taipei was great, but motion sickness from traveling on Alishan was no fun at all.
Ok I just realised that my post is kinda messy but it doesn't matter. I just need my photos to relive my memories of Taiwan :)
Now I'm spending my days trying to get ticks on my to-do-list for this holiday but progress has been relatively slow, I got my cold sore again.
this week's gonna be hell boring.
