I haven't posted in a long time and there were so many things going on in this seemingly short month.
First of all, all my final projects and my one and only exam is OVER! I can finally feel relieved and slack the rest of my holidays away in peace and out of guilt. Thank goodness uni holidays don't come with homework (screw jc).
So last week was filled with non-stop submissions and presentations, and not forgetting endless mugging from night till morning. wow the word mugging and studying suddenly feels so foreign.. I'm glad that 4D film turned out well, or at least I think so based on general comments. 3D kite flying at barrage was also rather fun. My first time there and I just suddenly discovered this new-found interest in kite flying haha. 2D was completed relatively long ago, glad that Ina liked it (I think). Studying for art history was like the worst thing ever.. even though we're given the questions, but they're so complex that I didn't even know how or where to start searching for answers, or whether whatever I found was even correct. Okay heck that, memorising my answers was a real pain, but I'm glad that I managed to vomit everything back out on the answer booklet anyway. All that's left to do now is enjoy life, start exercising again, worry about majors, and in the meantime, pray for my results.
Even though my unofficial holidays have started, I still went back to hall anyway for lecture, submission, major selection and friends. Everyone's mugging hard for exams that somehow I feel kinda bad for enjoying life while others are suffering. Not that I didn't have my fair share of it.. I just had mine earlier.
Swimming alone yesterday felt really good. Sometimes you just need some time alone once in a while. The pool was rather empty, I took a lane all for myself, did 30 laps. My head just goes blank in the water, watching the shadows of the ripples that form on the pool floor change. Feels good. Took a short nap and tanned, finally. Never felt so relaxed with nothing to worry about in a long time.
I can see myself doing more of this again sometime soon.
