I'm back with another post on another amazing holiday. (: wow, that's 2 back to back overseas trips I'm talking about. Probably will happen only once in my lifetime.. Well I went to KOREA with xiwen for 8D6N following a small tour group of 13 people including ourselves. Seoul, Jeju, Daegu and DanYang. Considering it was my first time holidaying in Korea, and also the first time going overseas with a friend, amazing!! The people in our tour were really nice to us, and so was our local guide who calls us mei meis hahaha.

We had a midnight flight supposedly at 2.35am which was delayed till 3.35am. Went to the lounge, starbucks and internet place to kill time. Asiana airlines!
Reached in late morning and changed to domestic flight to Jeju Island. Sight seeing at some dragon rock, some nice scenic mountain, tangerine farm and some place where da chang jing filmed. It snowed it jeju even though it wasn't supposed to! First time I experienced a snowfall. wonderful. (:

Third day, we went to see a beautiful waterfall, another da chang jing filming site, the cute teddy bear museum, green tea museum. It was snowing again! The winds were so strong, it was almost like a snow storm. I still loved every bit of the coldness and snow though.

Fourth day was domestic flight to Daegu, which was delayed by an hour due to heavy snow. More sight seeing, went to premium outlet street with LOTS of branded shops selling cheap stuff, some night shopping, traditional korean wedding and dukbokgi cooking! We spent an entire hour in adidas btw, which was obviously insufficient. sighhh.

Fifth day in Danyang, we stayed in a resort hotel which was tatami style! Hot spring in the basement, and we wore swimsuits and ran out in the cold to the outdoor hotspring. What a great experience hahaha. Oh not to forget, Everland! It was really pretty with all the cute buildings and night lights, but a pity there's too little time to try out stuff.

Sixth day was in Seoul, where we went to the Ginseng museum, Cordyceps museum, watched 'Miso' which was a very nice traditional korean theatrical performance. and the FACESHOP, which sold stuff much cheaper than those in Singapore. Went to myeongdong street to shop and bought stuff from Etude house, Skin Food and Tony Moly. Boots, accessories, and other random stuff like cute socks. Omg shopping haven! Went to the Kimchi school to make some kimchi and buy a whole carton of it, and tried on a hanbok! :D

Seventh day, went to an Amethyst factory which we were very uninterested in.. Sinchon shopping street for last minute shopping, and to a huge shop selling local foodstuff and souvenirs. Also, we went to feed seagulls on a cruise!! Fun fun (: I fed so many noisy, spoilt and starving seagulls for the first time. even though it lasted for only a mere 15minutes or so, the experience was wonderful.

Finally, we took another night flight back to singapore and reached at 2AM. I thought I bought alot of stuff but after I unpacked I don't think so anymore. I think I bought too little -_- ahhh! Oh not to forget, our (xiwen's) luggage was overweight HAHAHA. oh well hope that I'll have another great holiday soon (:
