It's finally the Youth Olympic Games!! Haha even though I'm not a part of it or anything, I still feel the excitement and it's fun watching all the sporting competitions. They are all 14 to 18 OMG I cannot believe it okay all their builds and looks are just... :O indescribable.
Okay so here's more complaining about my beloved TJC, apparently JC2s are NOT allowed to sign up as YOG volunteers, NOT allowed to have tickets to watch any YOG games, NOT given any YOG break or whatsoever like what poly students are having now. I really feel so damn bloody deprived of a life, seriously. Tell me, how often is YOG? once every 4 freaking years. When do you think is the next time puny Singapore will host YOG ever again? I probably won't even be alive by then. How is it that by being a volunteer or even watching a game during this short 13 days can change the outcome of A levels? This is just so damn stupid. I watch TV, see the volunteers and feel so envious yet sad. Why is it so unfair that YOG has to be in 2010 when I have bloody A levels. So much for rallying Singaporean youths to support YOG. How to support when we don't have the chance and time to! UGHH I hate this.
Moving on, I thought that the YOG opening was...not bad, considering SG only had 2.5 years to prepare for it. I just thought some parts could have been more organized and well thought. But overall, not bad! I'm just hoping I'll get to catch at least one volleyball match now, if I even have the chance...
Staff day's coming up, and I don't feel any attachment or gratitude to any teacher at all. EXCEPT Mr Fung. Yup, staff day's just another half day. great! Hmm I have tests everyday this week, how disgusting.
On saturday, the girls and I went out to Orchard for my early birthday celebration! Thanks alot xiwen, tong, mich :) They kept the places we were going a secret from me, which was a lot of suspense haha. We dressed nicely and first up was lunch at F.I.S.H at 313@somerset. Quite nice, pasta plus salad buffet, then they brought me to icing room to customize a cake :) it was pretty! and quite yummy too haha. Went to eat yami yogurt to steal forks lol. Then second stop was neoprints at cineleisure! Wow my first neoprint after 4 years in TA okay. And also our first neoprint together <3 Walked along orchard road to taka, YOG shops and randomly around. OH and they bought me that pair of shoes from rubi heheh thanks you guys :D
Last Tuesday which was NDP holiday, the same 4 of us went out to bugis to spend some quality time together. Went to Let's Sweet!, which was a jap buffet and we had only one hour to eat lol how stressful. But a good experience ;) Went walking around window shopping, then went to bugis street and I don't know why we had this sudden and unintended shopping spree! I spent about $63, on a pair of shoes, shorts, belt and bag. wow.
Haha this post is so long! I'll post again soon I hope. byeee
