Okay I'll just breifly talk about some more interesting things which happen during orientation.
Monday
I got dumped into OG3 with considerably no one I can talk to, which was quite sad..
But since I was SO SOCIABLE :D I made new friends in like, less than a minute. Damn pro hahaha.
Okay then we had a longggg series of boring talks, most of which are not applicable for us TA students. And I was freezing plus shivering internally cos I didn't expect us to stay in the cold audi for so long.
We went for mass dance practice in the hall after that, then had some OG bonding/ice breakers time.
50 PEOPLE IN AN OG. how the hell do I remember all man. Okay until now I still can't remember everyone's names :/ oops.
Tuesday
SUPER BORING talks in the morning. Like who the hell would wanna listen to a Library talk??? -_-
We had amazing race! 6 stations in total, but up to you to finish as many as you can with the given time limit.
So my OG was damn pro and efficient. I don't know how we did it, but we managed to finish ALL the stations! hahaha. yea man.
From school to bugis - bras besah - payalebar - bedok reservoir - simei - school. i think.
And we were the only OG to finish all, the others only managed to finish like... max 3 or so. weee.
Had mass dance again after that, and we didn't have lunch ):
Wednesday
Talks again... then we had mass games! played 4 games against Delta, which was okay... quite fun. The halfway during mass dance prac after that my friends and I went for talentime auditions. Took quite long so we missed a hell lot of mass dance prac. Our OG practised for the OG performance, and we only learnt like.. abit.
Thursday
Mass games in the morning, but talentime people didn't take part, we stayed int he leadership centre the whole freaking day practising and practising after we were told to combine with another 2 people from the same OG.
We joined in for the OG performance auditions, then left again for more practice. Sigh, so isolated.
Then nearing the evening kinda skipped dinner, and our whole OG hogged up the whole top deck of the public bus to go to suntec. Dance dance dance, then just slacked on the bench haha. not too bad. I met up with my family after that for dinner and by the time I went home it was so damn late and I was crap tired.
Friday
We spent the wholeeeee day in the hall rehearsing and rehearsing from 9am till 5pm. cool eh?
Missed battle of the titans and everything else, which I didn't mind missing at all. heh heh.
At 5 plus everything started falling in, and we sat at the back of the hall to watch the front part of O-night. It was quite nice actually!
Yea so after damn alot of practice and hardwork put into our performance, the mikeS just had to screw up on us. freak it. and it's the MIKESSS, mind you. what the hell.
So we didn't win talentime after all, because to me we weren't heard properly.
And gamma's 2 year winning streak just got broken. ): SAD..
There was a live band after that which got everyone really high and all. Then the AV system screwed up on them again, so we did like a million cheers to kill time and to also try to collapse the hall + stage..
the AV sucks lah.
I left with chiali at 10.30, while everyone else was still damn high. haha.
I.was.damn.tired! and my eyes were so dry. poor me.
So overall, orientation was not bad.. quite fun but I'm still disappointed at the fact our performance got screwed up and that gamma didn't win. So whatever. lalala.
Now all I want is a really really really good rest before lessons start -__-
I MISS MY FRIENDS. oh man I really haven't spent time with you guys for damn long :/
