Lalala i'm posting again (:
and this time, it's about Father's day! haha yea i love my daddy.
my daddy is my role model, and i respect him alot.
this year, my family got him an ashworth polo shirt! haha hand chosen by my mom and i.
that particular sunday also happened to be the chef association's annual family day event,
so we had to go for it since my daddy's in the commitee (:
Bright and early, we went to yishun's ... what's that place called again...
bottle tree park! haha there's a meaning behind it's name. the trees there are cutely shaped like a bottle. unique!
yea when we reached...there was this pond with alot of little fishes free for kiddies to fish up,
and they were all WALKING in the pond while catching.
poor fishes :/ i bet those floating dead on the water probably died of shock or exhaustion from swimming away.
there were ALOT of kiddies btw.

my sister and i decided to go prawn fishing. and it was SCARY...
like some hardcore prawn fishing uncles were there all geared up, and there were some other people who came to fish for fun, but almost all of them were adults.
so we sat behind that pond and threw our rod with some disgusting bait in. and wait...
listened to some nice music from my sister's phone to OVERPOWER the irritating guy who was playing CHINESE-POP on his phone sitting next to us.
and he was smoking. for gooodness' sake.
that must be why the prawns didn't bite on his bait HAHAHA.
we had beginner's luck. afterall, it was our first time prawn fishing.
we were so consistent! the prawns kept coming to our line and the other people kept staring because we were so lucky.
slowly...we see the rods of people beside us slowly tilting towards ourside.
trying to steal our lucky spot eh?
hahaha. i said that i would laugh out loud if we caught another prawn and not them, despite them trying to steal our luck.
and we caught one. LOL.
anyway, each time we caught a prawn, we had to remove the hook from it's disgusting mouth (if it was even considered a mouth). then it would use it's disgustingly huge pincers to pinch us!
bad prawns.. we ended up breaking one or two of them by accident due to their struggling...oops :/
we caught 6 in the end. which was considered good for first timers (:
the other losers beside us caught only 1 or 2 hahahaha. oh no i'm mean.
.
After that we went for pond fishing with the kiddies lol!
i felt like i've gone back to the kampong days...
imagine...my sister and i in a pond chasing after small little fishes among little kids.
like giants among dwarves.
eh but we caught alot okay! hahaha. pretty ones too.
when these 2 little fat girls came over to my side and tried to snatch the fishes i cornered,
i got so irritated by their irritatingness and just shouted 'OI.'
haha they ran away of course. i'm scary :D
and in the end...those fishes was mine hahaha!
we bought a tank for them and took care of them really well. unlike the fishes those kiddies took home. lol they're probably all dead!

such a...fun and memory relieving day (:
